when you say antibiotics, do you mean the pills or the topical creams?
I have used benzoyl peroxide 2.5% and I love it but I do think that the worst part is the irritation. I use aloe vera gel in my moisturizer so it reduces the inflammation and I have always wanted something that has them two in one
Thank you soooo much!!!!
Hi, I have the same problem. Got my acne when I was 21 or 22. Been on the pill ever since, now I’ve been off the pill for 3 months and the acne is back. There is not much I can do other than being on the pill again, and try some products. But I need to be on the pill, otherwise the products would not work. I would try the product you recommended but everything coming from the US is held at the Italian customs
When using benzoyl peroxide, the best thing to do is to start off with the 2.5%, and then gradually increase the concentration of benzoyl peroxide if need be. Don’t start off by using 10% straight off! Benzoyl peroxide can be drying and cause some irritation in any of the preparations, if this is a problem you can reduce the frequency of use or stop using it until irritation dies down and then start again with a reduced frequency.

I have terrible hormonal acne as well, so I might try this product. I am considering taking some sort of hormonal medication or antibiotics if my acne doesn’t stop soon though, because it’s starting to cause scarring
i like this new background
Heyyyyy just to let you know you have put the wrong link up, its emc2acne.com

xoxo
i love you so much! xox
@anica1079 turn it up – that worked okay for me. It is lower than usual though.
Stopping all anti-depressants worked for me! I had perfect skin all throughout my teenage years when everyone else seemed to be struggling with pimples, but then later on new medications started to screw up my skin. And left me with a few scars even! Grrr…I am very sensitive to medications (most of them!), and also sensitive to moisturisers and cleansing products…so when I find one that works, I stick to it. Hair, skin & nails vitamins are fantastic, so is just going on the pill (Yasmin)
@heatherrr323 yeah me too, the sound is quite a bit lower than normal.
@crazydiva23 I use the drying lotion at night and apply only to current breakouts. I apply with a Q-tip. The drying cream i use in the morning before i apply my makeup to my current breakouts. i just use my finger. They also have a buffer lotion which i only use on places that i get breakouts, but currently dont have it. i apply that with a Q-tip as well at night, but not every night. Hope this helps!
This product sounds really good! Thanks for this
